Private by design - your portal is yours alone
Your immigration file is among the most sensitive information you own. The GetNorthPath
portal is built with privacy as a first principle.
One-time access tokens
Your portal is first accessed via a unique 48-hour token sent by GetNorthPath. Tokens
expire on first use. All subsequent logins require your password. No shared login credentials.
Only you can see your file
Only your assigned the GetNorthPath team and authorised GetNorthPath staff have access to your
application. No other client, lead, or third party can ever access your documents or form data.
Encrypted in transit and at rest
All data is encrypted using TLS 1.3 in transit and AES-256 at rest. Documents are stored
in encrypted cloud storage and accessed only when your portal is active.
Zero advertising · No data sharing
GetNorthPath products are ad-free. Your documents and application data are never sold,
shared with third parties, or used for advertising. PIPEDA-compliant data handling throughout.
Delete your data any time
Request full deletion of your documents and application data at any time from Settings.
GetNorthPath responds to deletion requests within 30 days in accordance with PIPEDA.
Access from any device
The portal is fully responsive - works on desktop, tablet, and mobile browsers without a
native app required. Your session is tied to your login, not your device.

When do I get access to the dashboard?

You get access the moment the GetNorthPath team sends your portal access link - typically within
24 hours of your payment being confirmed. GetNorthPath sends you a one-time 48-hour access token
via email and email. You click the link, set your password, and your dashboard is immediately live with
your application pre-configured.
Can I access the dashboard from my phone?

Yes. The portal is fully responsive and works on any modern mobile browser - Chrome, Safari,
or Edge on iOS and Android. No native app is required. Your email notifications link directly back to the
relevant section of your portal, so you can go from notification to action in seconds from your phone.
How often is the dashboard updated?

The dashboard updates in real time as events happen. Document validation results appear
within 10 seconds of your upload completing. AI form fill progress updates field by field as AI processes your
data. In-app messages appear the moment they are sent. Pipeline stage changes happen automatically as your
application moves forward. There are no batch updates - everything is live.
Can my family members see the dashboard?

Currently, the portal is single-user - each application has one primary account holder. If
your application includes a spouse or dependants, they are included in your application but access the portal
through your account. Multi-user access (e.g. spouse co-applicant login) is on the roadmap for a future
release. Check GetNorthPath for the current options for sharing application information with family
members.
What happens to my dashboard after my application is submitted?

Your dashboard remains active throughout the entire IRCC processing period. After submission,
Stage 8 is marked complete and Stage 9 (Decision) becomes active. You can continue using in-app messages,
and IRCC processing timeline estimates are updated based on current IRCC data. When a decision is received,
GetNorthPath updates the dashboard immediately. Your documents and application
history remain accessible for 12 months post-decision.
